I've been so taken with the bottom of the poster, I didn't notice The Great Magoo (or whatever he's called) up there in the clouds. I am not sure how to feel about him being featured on the poster for S4.

Me neither. I think blondielox is right and Dragoon is going to stand in for magical Merlin this series, so he'll help out Arthur 'publicly' and no-one will EVER KNOW. ARGH.

It's a terrible photo of her, or maybe just a terrible photo of the poster? I can't tell yet. I'm holding out hope that it's just the photo of the poster! She looks slightly zombiefied, and Arthur looks scrunched up and confused.

IKR?? Most of them have sucked (I picked up the S3 one at the BFI last year but it wasn't very pretty. And there was no BFI event listed in my Sept/Oct magazine :( )

But this one is AWESOME. Plus, old!Merlin? I liked old!Merlin, he was adorable so I'm looking forward to that again. *g*

From the digital spy live blog: "Colin Morgan promises that there a lot more surprises to come, and adds that the series will grow more "mature" this year. He explains that Merlin's story arc will see him finding his true place in the court of Camelot."

This better not be some kind of sly reference to him turning into old Merlin >:(

Merlin looks so good on that poster. And Morgana looks amazing too -- just like a dark sorceress should. :) I do admit I loled a bit at Arthur's expression on the poster -- he looks like he just woke up from being knocked unconscious and is all, "Wuh? What just happened?" Now I'm worried about how many times we'll see Arthur being knocked out so he won't find out about Merlin's magic. Poor, poor Arthur.

I'm not too happy about Dragoon the Great being featured on the poster as well... it makes me think they'll use him as a nice excuse not to have Merlin sans old disguise reveal his magic to Arthur. *frowns* Cool poster overall though. :) I'm looking forward to updates from Comic Con.

I feel exactly the same about Dragoon, do not want that to be used as a cop out so Dragoon helps Arthur with magic and Merlin just carries on being treated like the idiot servant :( :( I would be so mad!

Morgana looks really sad in that poster! Maybe she's going to be more conflicted in series 4 now? To me she looks less like an evil I-don't-care-about-anyone-anymore witch and a bit more like her old self ... but then again it's just a poster :P.

I've got to admit, I'm reaaally nervous about this apparent increase in Dragoon's presence in series 4. I don't want this to be true, but to me it seems like this could be the writers way of getting around the whole 'Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic' business ... and if they really do that I'm going to be immensely cross :/.
