Just spotted this (via http://www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com/) - Unfortunate Typo is Unfortunate ;) It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the loosening muscles!

Whenever I see something like that, I remember the infamous Wicked Bible of 1631 :D I bet they didn't find the typo quite so amusing back then!

You DO find the most interesting things! I too laughed out loud while also feeling incredibly bad for the author. It is a sad concurrance that the overall sentence still makes some (unpleasant) sense with the typo.

I've never heard of the Wicked Bible before but that's a doozy, for sure. I wonder what the punishment was for the person who made that typo.

I am informed that they were called in before the King and Archbishop of Canterbury in Star Chamber and fined! They were severely lacking a sense of humour in the seventeenth century ;)
