I never ever thought I would say this, but that episode of Merlin was everything I've wanted the show to be since I first started watching it in 2008. Thank you for FINALLY getting it right and breaking my heart in the process, PTB.

They got it so right in so many ways, which kind of infuriates me that they waited until the last minute to pull it out. Gah. I was very happy with the show up until this season where I was feeling really strung along.

That was an amazing and fitting end to the show and it made me so happy as well as breaking my heart. Especially the idea of Merlin waiting patiently for his King.

On a fandom note I would like to say that you were pretty much one of the first people I spoke to here about Merlin and I have always loved and read your posts whether they were Merlin on not. Merlin has brought me so much happiness in the last five years and I look forward to it always having a place in my heart.

in my opinion Capps & Co failed absolutely to show us the promised united Albion and magic returning to the Kingdom (they left it all to Gwen lol), but instead in the very end they focused on Merlin and Arthur story only and did it brilliantly, and I thank them for it.
And I thank you for your amazing stories and posts through these years, you are a wonderful person ^__^

please tell me you aren't going to stop writing in the fandom! you're one of the best! my personal favorite are the minister and menswear verses, and the one about pining and onions, and i just finished what you have so far of the school nemeses and i am enjoying it immensely. the final of the show actually filled me with woe. inundate us with sweet and funny fanfic! we need it more than ever.
