HOLY CRAP - WHAT IS THIS?

New trailer for Ridley Scott's Alien prequel 'Prometheus' is out and it looks AMAZING. So amazing I just unplugged my laptop, ran downstairs with it, woke up dad from where he was snoring in front of American Dad, and we watched it together so we could share the awesome (my whole family are HUGE Alien fans).

I'm not even sure of the storyline for this prequel but it looks so fantastic, I cannot wait to see it.

Hee! E just showed me the trailer not five minutes ago! She's since been looking up the storyline/basis for it and it's apparently not really a true "prequel" but takes place in the same universe and builds on the mythology and such and gives the backstory of the company Ripley was traveling with and so on. It looks really cool!

You know, when I was younger, my friend's cousin tried to scare us to death with the original Aliens movie, and then I never ended up actually watching it even as an adult. But that preview DOES look epic. Maybe I should go and get caught up finally! :)
