help needed!

Hello flist! I have a problem :( My house has no internet until Tuesday because there is a fault that we need an engineer to fix and they can't come til then. I still have internet on my phone but it's kind of fiddly to load sites and especially to type entries (like now). Anyway you may rememver I am trying to post one historical thing a day to my comm, 1066andallthat. a8c-sock posted in place of me yesterday, vensre hopefully has something today, but I was hoping some of you might be able to help. If you have any historical facts or stories, or maybe a new year tradition with a history to it, I would be v grateful of youi could email it to me at magog83@gmail.com and I can get either Ven or Socky to put it up at the comm.
